Some symptoms occur before the migraines comes on such as issues in vision which are called aura. Our Treatment Options
In severe cases specially prescribed pain medications by your doctor may be needed in reducing and managing frequent headaches or migraines. Additionally we work to identify the underlying cause of the problem and offer effective customized treatments. In doing this we evaluate your diet, your stress, and your physical makeup and condition.
We practice basic chiropractic adjustments for restoration of proper structural alignment to the body. Structural misalignment could be a contributor to headaches. We usually refer out for more intensive chiropractic care as well. With all treatments we advise our patients on effective healthy eating and other protocols which are integral to overall healing of their joint pain. Additionally we may utilize remedies to treat underlying contributors.
While we do not practice it regularly, sphenocath treatments have proven to be an effective natural alternative for relief from headaches and migraines. The main nerve involved in headaches and migraines is called the Sphenopalatine Ganglion. A sphenocath treatment applies a numbing agent to this nerve bunch.
