Hormone Imbalance
What Are the Causes?
Hormone imbalance can result in hot flashes, mood swings, depression and irritability, increased appetite and other uncomfortable symptoms. Hormones may go out of balance for different reasons such as puberty, pregnancy, hypothyroidism, medication reactions and menopause. Stress and poor diet can also be large contributors. Hormone imbalance may also stem from more underlying factors that would need to be identified by a healthcare professional. Learn more about hormone imbalance causes and symptoms.
Our Treatment Options
With all health conditions we work to identify the underlying cause of the problem and offer effective customized treatments. We treat many patients for hormone imbalance. Hormone imbalances can often be cured and managed through natural means.
We start by evaluating all aspects of a patient's health, their physical makeup and condition, biochemical factors in the body (diet), and their mental/ emotional condition. Age and environmental factors play a big part in determining a correct treatments. Generally we then establish a diet protocol as well as supplements to aid the body in regaining proper balance. We'll use additional remedies to address underlying factors.
We also practice the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) with our patients. This technique is a practical way for letting go of negative emotions in the body. EFT is a fast and effective technology to help patients move past emotional barriers. We have used this technique in clinic for many years to help people move through hard stress situations. It's also effective for phobias like being afraid of spiders. We can show you in the office how to it do for yourself. EFT is best utilized on a daily basis for simple stress reduction. emofree.com is a great place to find additional information.
