I feel the meeting was good. The overview was helpful to understand, and knowing the process of what is going on in the cleanse is useful.
My experience up to this point has been pretty good, but it was a rough start. I found the introduction to be helpful, but it was difficult in the beginning to get into the sites and find material. Some material wasn't posted yet; the website had expired links initially. I had a significant ordering issue through metagenics which needed to be corrected. I like the explanation of why to have a detox. I'd like to know a little more about how the diet is connected to the phases in the detox (the "why it works"), and what I really need to be aware of beyond what is in the Metagenics guide. For example, "On day four, potatoes are permissible, but you want to be careful with quantity as this may slow down your goals." Or, "Although there are only four types of fish listed, if you are unable to get a farm raised salmon, you can..." I also think that setting up a one on one appointment, even if it is a 15 minute zoom call, would be quite helpful. One more suggestion is that there could be a site for those who are on the cleanse to communicate and share experiences, which could be monitored by both Dr. Fisher and Dr. Roush to see if what is shared is normal, needs one on one communication, or is beneficial to all. The community aspect could help normalize the expectation of each person's response to the detox, and help people to know what they may be experiencing is shared.
I'm finding this to be a powerful experience and am glad I am a part of it! Thanks for hosting this.
